Introduction to Environmental Policy
Graduate course, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 2021
This course attracted graduate students and advanced undergraduates from MIT and Harvard departments with interests in environmental justice, environmental ethics, analytical tools for environmental assessment, and strategies for collaborative decision-making. I served as the Teaching Assistant to Professor Larry Susskind for this course.
Science, Technology, and Public Policy
Graduate course, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), 2021
I served as a Teaching Assistant to Professors Noelle Selin and Kenneth Oye in this course. The course examined issues at the intersection of science, technology, and public policy. It was structured around political economy theories, adapted to address the integration of uncertain technical information into both public and private decision-making processes.
Understanding Social Policy Research
Graduate course, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Department of Social Policy, 2023
This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the key issues in the research process within social policy. It explores the philosophical foundations of research methods, the application of both qualitative and quantitative methods in international social and public policy, and the critical role of evidence in shaping policy decisions. The course was convened by Dr. Johann Koehler, and I delivered two lectures: one on using qualitative research and addressing missing data issues in international social and public policy research, and another on theorizing policy processes.
Research Methods for Social Policy
Undergraduate course, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Department of Social Policy, 2023
This a year-long methods course for undergraduate students to train them in qualitative and quantitative research methods. I co-taught this course with Dr. Shuang Chen.
